Over 200 EWEA members attended this evening reception at the famous Galaxy Room, overlooking the Acropolis from the roof of the Hilton hotel, to enjoy drinks, snacks and networking under the stars.

The official Conference Reception was held at the New Athens Planetarium, the largest and best equipped digital planetarium in the world. The Planetarium opened its doors to the public in October 2003, and offers a magical voyage to the stars through the medium of virtual reality.
Over 800 guests enjoyed cocktails and snacks followed by a spectacular show on the evolution of human knowledge about the Universe, from antiquity to the present.

The Exhibitors Reception took place on Tuesday in the exhibition area. Cocktails and snacks were served and Greek music, dancing and entertainment was provided.

The official gala dinner took place in the beautifully restored buildings of the Markou winery, just outside Athens. The evening included a welcome cocktail reception, wine and ouzo tasting, followed by a formal seated dinner with traditional Greek entertainment and after dinner drinks.
